There has been frequent discussions about the safety of nicotine in e-liquids. To be more precise, it’s the safety regarding those who shouldn’t be having it. While nicotine’s safe under adult handling, if not used properly, it can make available some dangers, comparable to alcohol or other types of frequent household drugs. It’s not meant to be managed by anyone who isn’t over the age of 18 (19 in some states and with some websites) and not entirely well-informed of its nature.

Nicotine can be highly hazardous, even lethal, if consumed wrongfully. As the popularity of electronic cigarettes has increased and expanded across the U.S., the number of calls to poison control agencies regarding accidental ingesting incidents has slightly went up as well. While it’s generally safe for adults when vaporized and inhaled, a tiny amount of nicotine liquid could pose a large hazard to small children. Also, it’s not just in occurrences of ingestion, it can be just as high-risk when absorbed through to skin as well.

Our advice to our vaping audience out there who have, or are around young children or pets, is to seriously and mindfully make a full attempt to keep your vaping hardware, especially e-liquids away from, and out of the reach of children and pets. Safety’s very important, as you already know, and being negligent with an item that has the probability to be used wrongfully creates risks that shouldn’t warranted to begin with.

We enjoy nicotine and vaping in general, make no mistake about it. However, we don’t take our pleasure of nicotine lightly. All our e-juices belong strictly in the hands of adults, and we’re doing our part to guarantee the safety and wellbeing of any kids and pets who come into contact with it. When it comes to nicotine liquid and our young ones and pets, there’s no getting around it: play it safe.
