The best vaping experiences doesn’t come from the type of vaporizer or MOD that you use. To get the most out of your device, follow these simple techniques. They'll get you the best flavors and will potentially extend the life of your wicks.
E-Liquids
This is the source of it all, this is where your vaping experience starts. To get the best from vaping you need to take the time to make your own e-liquid. You can order vape kits and all the ingredients necessary (Propylene Glycol/Vegetable Glycerin) from DIY websites, or even make vaping oils inexpensively at home utilizing all manner of vegetables, herbs, and even flowers, to benefit your health while also giving you the satisfaction associated with vaping. It's the RYO of the vaping world, and knowing exactly what it is that you're vaping is an essential part to maximizing your experience.
Temperature
The ideal temperatures for vaping seem to be between 392°F-480°F (200°C-250°C). Getting that to translate in your vaping device is a matter of dialing it in to your personal preferences between these temperatures. Every device is different, so take the time to figure out how yours behaves and what kind of flavor its generating at each temp. These temperatures may be different if you’re vaping an oil vs. an e-liquid for example, so try to only use recipes that provide you with the optimal temperatures for the product you'll be making.
Priming
First there's priming the coil, where you let the juice saturate into the wick. You can take a few pulls on the cartridge (without putting it on the atomizer) to try and draw the liquid in. Once your e-juice is steeped in (just a couple minutes), you can also take some primer puffs; quick, short pulls to get the coil heated up. Now your device is ready to deliver the best flavors and vapor it can produce. How much vapor you produce is entirely dependent on the amount of drags you do.
Drags
The way you pull on your vape determines the kind of hits you get (for any vaping device). Take your time and pull on your vape between 3 to 6 seconds to get good, throat hits. Your own pulling times will vary, as will your temps, but with these techniques as a guide, you'll get some of the best experiences from your vape.
So remember, it’s best to start with only natural ingredients for your e-liquid. You need to gauge the right temperature. And then finally, prime your wicks, and take slow, controlled drags. Whether you're a novice or an expert, you'll get the best vaping experience possible.
