Description

The new Redux CE5 eGo Clearomizer from SmokTech is an amazing upgrade for your vaping experience.  This product is very easy to use, cheap to operate, and an outstanding performer, making it a favorite among new and experienced users alike.

This product is SmokTech's branded version of the CE5 eGo Clearomizer and also includes the added benefit of a changeable head.  The new changeable head system means that the coil and wick can quickly and easily be swapped out as needed.  This drastically reduces replacement costs and makes it easy to switch from flavor to flavor.

Currently available in round tip only

This product also is compatible with a flat tip mouthpiece that many users prefer and since the Low Resistance heads are rated at 1.8ohm, they perform extremely well with eGo/eGo-T/eGo-C batteries. Higher resistance heads rated at 2.4ohms are available as a replacement for this product and are recommended for those using higher voltage or variable voltage devices.

Replacement Heads for this product can be purchased here: SmokTech Redux eGo Clearomizer Replacement Heads (5pk)

Alternate Drip Tips are available here: CE4/CE5/Redux Pawn Drip Tip - Aluminum

Or almost any 510 drip tip can be used in conjucting with the eGo Clearomizer Drip Tip Adapter

Check out the videos below to see how to disassemble, change the head, and fill the SmokTech eGo Clearomizer.

  1. The best so far

Posted by Scott on 19th Apr 2013

Relatively new to vaping and am still searching for the right combination of equipment. Very impressed with this clearo. No leaks (I trim the ends of the wicks slightly to keep them from getting caught in the tank threads). Good vapor hit. Easy to clean (go Plunger). Periodically tilting the clearo horizontal and rolling it a time or two keeps the coil wet enough for my needs with no dry hits. Tip design and seal does great job of keeping juice out of the air shaft.

  2. A nice clearo

Posted by Unknown on 18th Apr 2013

This is a very nice clearo. It leaks less than most of the ones I've used, though the Evod is better in this sense. The pointy metal tip on the head helps keep liquid out of the air shaft, and makes it easier to refill. On the down side, some of the drip tips have a bit of a hard time screwing on (QC I imagine).

  3. No issues whatsoever

Have been using these as replacements for when the CE4s go bad on the blister packs. Have had no problems with these yet.also ordered the replacement heads to rebuild these when they die. Good value and a great product.

  4. I've reviewed these before but here's an update.

Posted by Unknown on 17th Apr 2013

Still love these clearos, however now that I've had them for a few weeks here's some advice to get the most out of them.

If you're chain vaping and getting dry hits, untwist the wicks and spread them out so that they take up as much room in as possible inside of the juice chamber. Believe me, this works wonders for keeping the coil wet. You will go through juice faster doing this because it wicks faster but I'd rather have consistently fat and flavorful hits everytime instead of one or two good hits then dry hits and having to wait between puffs.

I will definately keep buying heads for this product.

  5. Primo - Almost perfect

Try these -- you'll love 'em.

  6. Best product w/ the best price

Posted by Dave Irwin on 14th Apr 2013

BUY A 5-PACK. Great Vaping and flavor. Best one I've used so far. The CE4 that comes with the Blister pack is ok but these CE5's are a must. Rebuildable, different tips, heads and easily cleaned out for different flavors. I buy these in 5-Packs, give them as gifts with the blister packs and always have 3 or 4 loaded with different flavors for variety. Buy a 5 pack of replacement heads and that's all you need. I've bought 2) 5-Packs and 2 singles so far.

  7. These clearos are my fav way to vape.

Posted by Joe M. TN on 8th Apr 2013

I had been using an inferior clearomizer for a few months before getting a chance to see one of these in action.

I've purchased 4 of these so far, and so far all of them have functioned as expected. I do recommend untwisting the wicks before using in order to avoid occasional dry hits, but occasional dry hits is a small price to pay for a clearo that doesn't leak or crack easily.

I've found that the heads need to be cleaned after about a week, but this may be due to the type of juices I use. Cleaning is easy and fast, and although I purchased a 5 pack of replacement heads, I haven't had to use any so far.

If you're looking for a superior clearomizer for a decent price, grab a couple of these and give them a chance. Even though there are reviews here where people have had bad experiences with these, I still consider these worth the risk. Besides, everyone gets bit by the bad luck bug from time to time, and personally, if I ever were to order one and get a bad one, I would still feel good about ordering another since I know that these are decent products, and sometimes getting a dud is bound to happen with virtually any product at some point.

  8. great tank

Posted by mike on 5th Apr 2013

Zero leaks super easy to clean and long wicks so you vap down lower then the ce5 tanks. Everything fits nice and tight and i have dropped it sadly 3-4 times now on concrete still works great no leaks or.cracks

  9. Excellent!

These perform much better than I expected, very satisfied....

  10. Not to bad

Posted by Shana Lee on 1st Apr 2013

This wasn't a horrible product though it is a little to small and I found myself having to fill it to much but it works in a pinch
