KangerTech Protank - Pyrex Glass 2.5ml Bottom Feed Tank (BCC)
Description
The bottom coil Kanger Protank is a top of the line clearomizer made from the best materials available. It offers the same great features and performance as other bottom coil clearomizers but with the introduction of a strong pyrex glass tank and solid stainless steel construction. The ProTank is 510 threaded and will work on a 510 threaded Mods without the need for an adapter, but it also comes with a matching ego cone cover for use with various eGo style batteries such as the eGo-T, eGo-C, and eGo-C Twist
Since the KangerTech Protank is made of stainless steel plated brass and glass, it is perfect for use with abrasive liquids such as the cinnamon red hots and spearment flavored e-liquids that often cause problems by reacting with the plastics used in standard clearomizers.
Also, the bottom feed design makes the Protank great for use with thicker liquids. Since gravity helps keep the wick saturated thicker liquids (higher VG content) can be used without getting the dreaded dry/burnt hits that are common with many tanks.

What You get With the Kanger ProTank Kit:
- 1 x 2.5ml ProTank with clear pyrex glass tank.

How to Use your KangerTech Protank:
- To fill, turn the tank upside down and remove the threaded end cap. Fill the outer portion of the tank (avoid getting e-liquid into the center airflow tube). Screw the head and wick assembly onto the threaded end cap tightly then screw the end cap onto the tank tightly. You can now turn it rightside up and check for leaks before using.
- Gurgling or Leaking can occur if liquid gets into the center airflow tube. To clear this liquid and improve performance remove the tank from the battery and blow through the mouthpiece into a paper towel. The excess liquid will come out of the threaded end of the device. If this happens often you may need to check that all connections are screwed down tightly or replace the head and wick assembly with a new one.
- The head and wick assembly will sometimes loosen itself when the threaed end cap is unscrewed. Always check that it is screwed on tightly before replacing the threaded end cap. Not doing so could result in a leaking or non-working device.
- You should never run the tank completely dry. Doing so could result in a burnt or damaged wick and can cause leaking. Refill the tank when the liquid level reaches approximately 1/3 full
- Replacement heads will be available for this product soon. The lifespan of replacement heads can vary quite a bit, but following the above instructions will maximize the lifespan of the coil.
- 1.7-1.9ohm - 3.1-3.4V
- 2.1-2.3ohm - 3.5.3.8V
- 2.4-2.6ohm - 3.9-4.2V
- 2.6-3.0ohm - 4.3-4.7V

LOVE my Kanger ProTank. Would give it 5 stars, but my only disadvantage to the product is it floods when the e liquid gets below 1/3. (I know you are told not to do this, BUT, sometimes you are in a pickle!) Way to go!

I love this KangerTech ProTank .. though at first I had some reservations about quite an "airy" draw and a little gurgle after vaping over half a tank. I put in a new coil with 6 wraps around a 2-56 screw with 32ga Kanthal - 2 strands of 1mm silica wicking inside the coil + 2 strands on top of coil as flavor wicking. The draw tightened up and never a gurgle since! Even a Mercedes needs a tune-up sometimes! Just bought 7 more of these.

The Kanger ProTank is very nice. It's well built and smokes almost as good as it looks. Most tanks give a lot of smoke and are harsh. this tank gives a moderate hit but but with its glass and stainless steel construction the hit is very cool and smooth.

I've been through a lot of tanks, and since finding this have stopped looking. It's low maintenance, very easy to use, looks cool, but most importantly vapes beautifully. It also deals well with the high VG content I use. Also of interest, I run the 2.2ohm coils at the lowest voltage possible, which means the batteries last forever. I have stopped trying to clean / burn off the coils to resuse them as I did with the ViviNova tanks, as they never come back as new, but rather change the coils about once a week or two, which keeps it vaping beutifully.

I really like this tank, very good quality. The only downside is it's heavy but don't let that deter you. I can vape on this tank for almost 3 days before refilling and it doesn't suck as much air as other tanks do. If you like to vape on different flavors this tank is the way to go because it can be rinsed out with warm water when switching to a new flavor and the glass tank doesn't absorb flavors the way a plastic tank will and there won't be any issues with cracking if you are using menthol flavors like the plastic tanks have been reported to do. If you are concerned about the weight or size of this tank, Kanger also makes a glass mini pro tank which holds less eliquid but is much lighter in weight and both tanks use the same bottom coil replacements. If Kanger can improve the design by wrapping or shielding the tanks in a protective metal sleeve to prevent breakage than they will have the ultimate tank thereby leaving the competition in the dust. I highly recommend this tank.

I have wanted one of these since I first saw them on MFS. The problem? I use an X6 battery, and MFS warns that this device may not work with the X6. I finally decided to take the plunge and try it for myself. I also bought an ego-t battery that I could use it with just in case it did not work with my X6.
When I received the Pro Tank I couldn't wait to try it out on the X6. It works great! And it looks bad ass too. The tank holds enough juice to last all day, the draw is smooth and easy, and the flavor is fantastic. Not a single complaint about this unit.
I would advise fellow X6 users to be aware that this may not fit, so buy at your own risk. I took a chance and it paid off perfectly.
